ITT ProSmart™ Predictive Condition Monitoring for Treatment Plants

November 1, 2007, Seneca Falls, NY: ITT Monitoring & Control, a fluid business of ITT Corporation, has introduced ProSmart™,  a predictive, online, machine condition monitoring system.  ProSmart automatically collects, trends, and displays data; it then generates alarms based on machine health.  ProSmart uses inputs from vibration, temperature, oil level, liquid flush & leak detection, pressure, and speed, together with patented algorithms, to create Smart alarms that notify operators and management of machine condition via cell phone, pager, email, and web browser.   Unlike traditional online systems, ProSmart was designed from the ground up to have a low total cost of ownership resulting from low cost sensors, simple installation, wireless communication, web browser user interface, and a subscription based service for most of the system’s components.
